Michael Bolton Signs John Bolton

Growing up in the 1980s, there were two staples of what was then called "Adult Contemporary" music that were lame as fuck and downright tacky: Kenny G and Michael Bolton. Well, John Tesh, too.

But both Bolton and G, as opposed to Tesh, have since embraced that fact and just ran with it, now laughing at that personae and taking it to new levels in a comedic way.

Bolton's been a tad more successful, particularly via his collaboration with The Lonely Island and his Netflix special, and he was on Stephen Colbert's The Late Show this week to show the ridiculousness of John Bolton's past comments:

I never thought I'd say this until that Lonely Island collab, but that fucking Michael Bolton is one hilarious guy who can sing.

Warren G And Kenny G... angsta?

Jimmy Kimmel does many things with his talk show, using social media to pull pranks on YouTube, starting fake fights with his ex-girlfriend Sarah Silverman involving sleeping with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck... and using the Monday Night music slot for ''mash-ups''.

This one, with Kenny G teaming up with Warren G who is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his groundbreaking 1994 hit Regulate (featuring Nate Dogg at the time, he's the pre-recorded voice you hear), may have been his best yet - and the only time I sat through a Kenny G song throughout:

I must admit the easy-listening superstar was a good sport to participate.

Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson Gets Cut By The Dolphins

Former superstar Chad 'Ochocinco' Johnson has falling on tough times. No team wanted to sign him this summer, and only the Miami Dolphins gave him a shot to fight for a roster spot.

He got married 40 days ago, but got in a dispute with his wife over a bill... for condoms. He allegedly head-butted her in the dispute that erupted, although it is her - not him - who has a history of violent acts, including many perpetrated on the VH1 reality show Basketball Wives.

And now his coach is firing him, live on HBO...

Update: his wife is filing for divorce.

John Cusack's Public Nose Job

I think Chris Chelios and/or Eddie Vedder will have a talk with John Cusack, maybe tell him he shouldn't pick his nose on national TV.

Then again, there isn't much to do but drink at a baseball game, and neither of them are holding a drink. Although Vedder doesn't have a good track record of being drunk at a Chicago Cubs game.

Hard to believe a team that hasn't won a championship in 102 years has so many famous fans...

(from deadspin, originally)
